it depends, last week i was -20 celcius, now it's -1 C and snowing
Nice picture's again!
But I have a question: Why does every farmer in Norway bale his grass when it's still green and (sometimes) still very wet?
When I was in Norway some farmers were baling directly after mowing. Is this because of the climate in Norway?
Last winter was a bit extreme, then we had snow for 6 months lol, in a normal winter we have snow for about 4 months

we use the grass for silage, and because of the weather we cant wait for it to dry so we have to bale it right after mowing it. If you wait and it starts raining it will only get wetter. Some times our bales weigh up to 1300 kg because of the water, haha
Last summer was good, we had about a month of with no rain at all, so then we could mowe the grass the day before baling it
