Even bijzeggen, de silagewagens in duitsland hebben GEEN tractie;)
This picture above is from me, originally postet on AiE. I don't care if it's re-posted here, that's ok with me. But I think I can give you some further information. The tractor on the picture is a Schlüter Super 2500 VL, the second out of a series of 41 units. It has a 240 HP MAN Engine, 6 Cylinder in-line, 11413 ccm, no turbo. That tractor really roars like a bear, the sound is absolutely fantastic.
On the day I shot that picture the driver was testing the 2500 after he bought restored it, one of the first events the tractor was back in action. He wanted to test the traction of that beast, so most of the time he only drove with 2WD, and except for one or two occasions he really didn't need the 4WD.
One of my pictures of that day you will also find in the Schlüter Picture-Book 'Schlüter - Schlepper im Einsatz II' by Glienke/Hierhager.

By clicking on 'Landwirtschaft > LU Schmalenbeck' you'll find the galleries with that red bears. Text is only in German language, but I hope that fits, as I know that many of you have very good German language skills. If not, feel free to leave me a message.
Bye,
